“ Marenca is a charming corner restaurant located in Zona Rio with dedicated parking spots. We visited on a busy Saturday morning and waited about 30 minutes, as the space is on the smaller side, but it was well worth it! The ambiance inside is modern and fresh, with a lively atmosphere. The service was attentive and quick despite the crowd. They offer a separate breakfast menu from lunch/dinner. We started with fresh juices--the Nutritivo (carrot, tomato, and celery) and the Verde (orange, celery, parsley, pineapple, and cactus). Both were refreshing and delicious. For food, we ordered the Memala (beef tongue, slow-cooked, with tomatillo salsa, served on blue corn tortilla sopes with fresh cheese from Tecate and refried black beans) and the Chopolli (beef rib sautéed with a chile meco sauce and chapulines (grasshoppers), braised beef rib cooked over jasper). Both dishes were flavorful, but the refreshing Memala was definitely our favorite. Overall, a great spot for breakfast with fantastic service and a nice atmosphere. Highly recommend! ”
“ Food is a great portion. One may think it's not at first, but it is not spice not sweet: savory. Service is exceptional. Professional hostess, sophisticated service. Ambiance has modest chatter. It's quant, snug. ”

“ Great place to have breakfast with a loved one or another couple. Pros- Service- was great, quick, on the ball with everything . The food comes out hot and fresh. Food- other than the strange names to them, the food was fantastic . I had the chilaquiles with chorizo . Ambiance- this place is modern, workers wear uniforms. The restrooms are clean, this place cares enough to have clean nice smelling restrooms than you know they care about their food. ”
